He was predeceased by: his father Calvin Kenneth Pierce; and his daughter Stacy Renee Pierce. He is survived by: his mother Mable Guill Pierce; his grandsons, Preston Aaron Pierce (Hillary Dunn) of Hurt, VA and Levi Seth Dunlap of Auburn; his sister Dianna Hatcher (Gene Russell) of Timberlake, NC; and his aunt Betty Guill Davis of Ringgold, VA.
