With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Murphy of Danville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otis Stallings and Nellie Coleman Stallings; her brother Jimmy Stallings; and her husbands, Tommy McFarling and Ronnie Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, April McFarling (Kelly) and Jennifer Johnson (Joel); her grandchildren, Seth Johnson (Triston), Saige Cooke (Tanner) and Fallan Thomas; her great grandchildren, Colton Johnson, Cannon Johnson and Baby Cooke; and her friend Alma Burke.
