He is survived by: his wife Naomi Buchanan Emerson; his children, Debra Hager, Ronnie Pollard and Marcia Fitzgerald; and his grandchildren, Joshua Hornbarger, Jennifer Poole, Kelli Green, Jacob Hornbarger, Angela Bell, Jessica Sams, Timothy Jackson, Amanda Hancock and Connie Pollard. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
