He is survived by: his children, Tammy Walker of St. Petersburg, Florida and Jerry Lynn Tawney Jr. (Amanda) of Oxford; his grandson Jerry Lynn Tawney III of Oxford; and his girlfriend Helen Miller of Twilight.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Handley Funeral Home- Danville (439 Phipps Ave, Danville, WV 25053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Danville Memorial Park (321 Jessie Ln, Turtle Creek, WV 25203).
