He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie James and Gladys Jones Barker; and his brothers, Jerry and Larry Barker. He is survived by: his wife Louise Freeman Barker; and his sisters, Judy Eanes (Wayne) and Linda Reed (Noel). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
