She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Hambrick Scarce and Irving Huesman Scarce; her husband Eugene Bobby Strader; and her brother Kenneth Carroll Scarce. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Edward Scarce, Richard Nelson Scarce and Mary Lou Beck (Harvey); her nieces, Stephanie Goldstein (Ben) and Courtney Murphy; her great-niece Sophia Murphy; and her nephew Jonathan Scarce (Christina).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Burial Park (3049 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
