He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Fern Pechta and James Lloyd McLarty; and his siblings, Penny McLarty and Mitchell McLarty. He is survived by: his wife Melanie McLarty; his children, Angus McLarty (Krista), Tena McLarty, Zia McLarty and Brock McLarty (Aeriel); his brother Bruce McLarty (Lynda); and his pet BooBoo. He is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caswell County Outreach Ministry at 225 Third Avenue, Yanceyville, NC 27379, a cause close to John's heart.
