He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert John Rutledge, Jr. and Winifred Hunt Rutledge; and his brother Robert John Rutledge, III. He is survived by : his wife Robin Reece Rutledge; his children, Mark Reece Rutledge and Margaret Rutledge (Maggie); his siblings, Ann Rutledge Heltemes (Brad) and Dennis Joseph Rutledge (Cathy); and his brother-in-law John Victor Reece (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
