He is survived by: his wife Brenda Miracle Day; his sons, William Allen Day and Michael Day (Shawn); his brothers, Roger Day (Ethel), Tommy Day (Zyanne), Benny Day, Joe Day Jr. (Joy) and Teddy Day; his grandchildren, Amanda Stewart, Justin Day, Brandon Day and Aaron Day; his great grandchildren, Laela Pelphrey, Malachi Stewart, Austin Day, Brandon Day Jr. and Emersyn Day; and his caregiver Joan Day.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
