She was predeceased by: her parent Claude J. Kendrick; her husband Henry Charles Simpson; her siblings, Viola Sparks, Betty Tate, Billie Buckner and Franklin Kendrick; and her niece Sandra Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Anderson (Michael Anderson) of Raleigh, NC and Charles Simpson; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason Holmes) of Zebulon, NC and Jon (Marlene Anderson) of Apex, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Sara Holmes, Emily Holmes of Zebulon, NC and Stefan Anderson of Apex, NC..
