She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Lee Burnett and Helen Prevette Burnett; her husband Wayne Thomas Martin; and her siblings, Ivadale Boswell and Bobby Burnett.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Marie Martin; her siblings, Arlene B. Taylor, Doris B. Compton and Glen Burnett; and her close friend Champ Hardie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Faith Memorial Baptist Church.
