With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Farthing Alderson of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Thomas Farthing and Mozelle Farson Farthing; her husband John Wayne Alderson; and her brother Sherrill Farthing. She is survived by: her children, Brian K. Alderson (Michele) of Ringgold, VA and Shana A. Turner (Kenneth) of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Kenny Turner (Kayren), Gwen Dwyer (Brendan) and Abigail Alderson; her great grandchildren, Alaina and Kendal Dwyer; her brother Darrell Farthing (Marsha) of Danville, VA; her friend Sylvia Phillips; and her caregivers, Paula Miller, Edna Griffin, Gena Guill and Judy.
