It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Scott Seay (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Emma Simms Scott and Joseph Emerson Scott Sr.; her son Christopher Ryan Seay; and her grandparents, Charlie Este Simms, Nettie Belle Martin Simms, David Luther Scott and Bessie Lipford Scott.
She is survived by: her son Whit Seay (Stacye) of Hayes, VA; her sisters, Jo Ann Scott of Danville, VA, Pat Daniels (Terry) of South Boston, VA and Marsha Scott of Dry Fork, VA; and her grandson Ryan Seay.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540).
