She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thelma Gatewood Fuqua and Gurney Fuqua; her husband Mac A. Carroll; her daughters, Dianne C. Moorefield, Lisa C. McDowell and Brenda C. Pruitt (Jim); her grandsons, Elliott McDowell, Levi Pruitt and Chase Pruitt (Brittany); and her siblings, Kenneth Fuqua and Jane N. Poteat. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
