“I had the pleasure of working with Karen at several Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camps since we first met in 2012. I was with her in Prescott, AZ the weekend of April 5-7, 2024, and she brought so much joy, laughter and compassion to our stroke survivors and caregivers and the volunteers. It was a privilege to know her and even more of a blessing to spend that weekend with her. Her spirit will stay with me always.”
