She is survived by: her children, Tricia Siebert, Makenna Plum (Buck Terrell), Keri Willet (Jay Willet) and Matthew Plum; her brothers, Michael Penn and Stephen Penn; her grandchildren, Amber, Montgomery Siebert, Ashton Crabtree, Alexander Siebert, Samuel Siebert, Thomas Clifton, Jalen Gardner, Lily, Isaac Gardner and Kayla Godfrey; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Clifton and Nikolas Crawford; and her daughter Tracie Jacobson.
Karen was also committed to her community, donating over 20 years of her time to assist the JROTC programs at local high schools, nurturing the growth and development of young leaders.
