She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Murphy and Martha Jane Murphy; her husband Nathaniel Saunders; her son Raymond Saunders; her grandson Marcus Saunders; and her sister Earlene Harris.
She is survived by: her friend Kathleen Murphy Saunders; her children, Nathaniel Saunders, Daryl Murphy, Jarrell Murphy, Shirley Ann Saunders, Deborah McLaughlin and Willerdean Saunders; and her grandchildren, Carlos, Devon, Lacheryl, Lakisha, Shantel, Jamell, Jamiyah, Takeisha and Aniyah. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
