She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Eddie Poteat and Nadine Sykes Poteat. She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Guthrie; her brother Eddie Poteat (Linda); her stepchildren, Jacinda Guthrie Barnes (Jamie) and James Robert Guthrie; her grandchildren, Holly (Chris), Skyler, Chloe, Hunter (Kaitlin) and Hannah; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Caleb and Heidi.
