With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Fuqua (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Fuqua and Gurnie Fuqua; his sister Judy Carrol; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Fuqua. He is survived by: his uncle Wilson; his aunt Lillian Nethery; his children, Donna Surface (Jeff), Keith Fuqua (Jill) and Amy Blackstock (Rickey); his grandchildren, Brittany Vernon (Taylor), Nathan Surface (Beth), Hannah Lambert (Zach), Ken Fuqua (Rachel), Brandon Fuqua (Cheyenne), Tyler Blackstock and Dylan Blackstock; his pets, Abbie and Charlie; and his sister Jane Poteat. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
