He was predeceased by: his father Herman G. Hankins, Sr.; and his brother Michael Edward Hankins. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Lee Townsend; his wife Phattanan Hankins; his siblings, Herman Hankins, Jr., Debra Layne, Tonya Cassady and Tammy McGee; his grandparents, Irene Brown and John Townsend, Sr.; and his great-grandparent Juanita Brown. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
