He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wilson Adkins and Carrie Hoskins Adkins; and his wife Frances Holland Adkins. He is survived by: his son Kenny Adkins (April); his grandchildren, Elana Barksdale (Chris), MacKenzie Adkins and Colten Adkins; his sisters, Barbara Walker and Beatrice Dalton; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Linens (Robert), Robin Tate (Ernie), Rhonda Piercy (Scott), Angie Wray (Matt), Lisa Holland, Susan Holland, Brian Tickle and Chris Holland. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
