He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Conley and Louise Overby Conley; his wife Jacqueline Sparks Conley; and his siblings, Dorothy Williams, Mary Geneva Deshazor, Marjorie Lee Strothers, Jewell Arlene Pyles, Charley Wilbert Conley and Robert Homer Conley.
He is survived by: his children, Shecorie Conley-Brooks (Anthony) and Gregory Logan; his siblings, Christine Arnold, Ford (Wilbert), Thelma Conley-Pyles (Bobby), Deborah Conley-Williams, Virginia Conley-Huber (Donnie), Gaynell Conley, Belinda Conley, Goss (Derrick), James Conley Sr. (Wanda), Alvin Conley and Royal Hunt; and his granddaughter Khayla Reynolds. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
