It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Craig Chinn of Danville, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Claire Beale Chinn and Dudley Earnest Chinn; his daughter Lisa Marie Chinn; and his siblings, Dudley Earnest Chinn, II and Linda Chinn Allison (Lewis E. Goodman, Jr.).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Tangarife Chinn; his children, Sandra Chinn Gilstrap (Jake Vincent), Lynden Victoria Gilstrap, Nichole Boswell (Dakota Warren), Sierra Warren, Heather Boswell, Larry Craig Chinn, II, Hollis M. Chinn, Duke J. Chinn, Kevin Craig Chinn of Suffolk, VA and Walter Earl Chinn; his sister Beverly "Pinky" Byrum; and his close friend Averett "Buddy" Brown, Jr.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
