With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawson Gary Barbour of Danville, Virginia, born in Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Odell Barbour and Virginia Iva Barker Talley; and his brother Delmos Ray (Zina). He is survived by: his brother Andy (Sarah); his wife Goldie; his children, Kathy (Bill), Teresa, Nancy (Billy), Tammy (Joe) and Tracy; and his grandson Josh. He is also survived by his son; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and cousins.
