She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Loyd Crumpton and Bertha Gentry Crumpton; her husband John Thomas Hart; her stepdaughter Carolyn B. Roberts; and her siblings, Myrtle Yarbough, Helen Talbert, Margaret Arnold, Shirley Motley, Herman, Bobby, Eli, Troy, Ray, Harold and Bennie Crumpton.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, C. L. Blackstock (Diane) and Judy B. Renna; and her siblings, Larry Crumpton (Linda) and Phyllis Seamster. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
