She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Scott and Lennis Dillard Scott; her husband Nathaniel Wilson; her daughter Melissa Scott; and her sisters, Earnestine Windslow, Rosetta Cobbs, Bernice Beasley and Geraldine Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Edwards (Daryl) and Tyrone Scott (Felicia); her siblings, Loretta Womack (Bobby), Estelle Johnson (Henry), Roosevelt Scott (Hazel) and Tony Scott; her grandchildren, Ebonee Edwards, Shannon Scott, Santrice Scott and Ladera Murphy; her great grandchildren, Armonee, Shaniyah, Ivyonna, Kay'Loni, Key'Loni, Nasiya, Emonie and Daziyah; and her great great grandchildren, Brixlee, Braxton and Braydon. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation (179 Piney Forest Rd, Danville, VA 24540). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Vance Street Missionary Baptist Church (206 Vance St, Danville, VA 24540). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Highland Bural Park.
