She was predeceased by: her parents, George Reeves Steele and Vernie Ruth Elliott Steele; her husband Paul William Perkins; and her siblings, Bobby Gene Steele, Ronnie Lee Steele, Delores Steele Ahearn, Frances Fay Steele and Kenneth Wayne Steele.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Montgomery (Brian Inman); her sister Brenda Phelps (Jerry); her grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery, Edward Hutcherson III (Jennifer) and Reese Bowles; her great grandchild Sylus Hutcherson; and her caregiver Jennifer Hutcherson.
