He is survived by: his children, Kathy McCarty, Cindy Lavinder (Bill) and Kevin McCarty (Lori); his granddaughters, Chelsea DuBay (Alec), Chloe Lavinder and Natalie Babcock (Nate); and his close friend Sybol Anderson.
