She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Browlee Hailstock Sr. and Florence Lewis Hailstock; her husband James Edward Chandler; her son George Edward Chandler; and her siblings, Beatrice Hailstock, Ruby Slade, Bernard Hailstock, Rev. Browlee Hailstock Jr. and Samuel Hailstock.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Chandler Gayles of Richmond, VA, J. Greyling Chandler (Karen) of Oxon Hill, MD, Anson Darrell Chandler of Danville, VA and Lance Chandler (Lisa) of Lynchburg, VA; her brother Napolean Hailstock (Jean) of Danville, VA; and her nephew Wayne Hailstock. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
