He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Thomas Snead and Doris Gardener Snead; his wife Barbara Adkins Snead; his son Louie Ray Snead, Jr.; and his siblings, Frances Smith, Margaret Spain, Dorothy Wall, Earl, Bobby, Troy, Ernest Snead and Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Ann Smith, Dana S. Parrish (Joshua) and Luke Thomas Snead (Catherine); his siblings, Vickie Slate, Amelia Revis and Donald "Duck" Snead; his grandchildren, Tabitha Hazelwood, Jarrett Snead, Erica Allen, Ashley Vernon, Jacob Snead, Lukas Snead and Haillie Martin; his great grandchildren, Heavenly, Christian, Evalynn, Trevor, Letti Ray, Benjamin and Brantley; and his pets, Remi and Monkey.
