We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 88, Lucille Nancy Blackwell of Danville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Eugene Ingram and Nancy Brandon Ingram; and her children, James Ingram and Queen Brown. She is survived by: her husband Oscar Blackwell; her daughters, Teresa Edmunds and Paula Foust of Danville; her stepdaughter Rita-Ann Saunders; her siblings, Martha Bassett of Pelham, NC, Alberta McCaden of Stamford, CT, Shirley Statum of Greenville, NC and Curtis Ingram of Danville; and her siblings-in-law, Rebecca Blackwell of Danville, Druanne Blackwell of Danville and Ruffus Blackwell, Jr.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
