She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Dale Inge Newcomb and Dilliard Thomas "Dooger" Newcomb; her husband Frank McDaniel; and her siblings, Dotsie Ferrell, Lillie Taylor, Tom, Samuel, James, William and Edward Newcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce M. Gaither (Wayne), Nathan C. McDaniel (Betty) and Frank H. McDaniel (Kay). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
