She is survived by: her children, Dale Williams Fowlkes (Kirk) of Wilmington, NC and Joseph Thornton Williams, Jr. of Yanceyville, NC; her siblings, Paul Smith (Rachel) of Providence, NC and Bettie Jean McDuffie (Neal) of Yanceyville, NC.; her caregiver Christine Newsome; and her children, Courtney and Brandon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
