Mary Beatrice Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Beatrice Jones of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Obadiah Carl Horton and Ruby Madaliene Horton. She is survived by: her husband John Lenwood Jones Sr.; her children, Marietta Sanford (Joe), Madalyn Martin and John Jones, Jr. (Heather); her grandsons, Will Sanford (Leigh) and Andrew Martin (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Aaron Martin, Carson Martin and Parker Sanford; and her sister Dreama Licea (Mariano). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Central Boulevard Church of God (235 Hairston St, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hospice of Danville or the Central Boulevard Church of God.
