She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Gilbert. She is survived by: her brother Roger "Too Sweet" Irby (Mardi Gras); her son Chauncey Gilbert; her grandson Chauncey, Jr.; and her brothers, Joe and Dean Irby. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, cousins, and her very dear neighbors who were like extended family.
