She is survived by: her brothers, Samuel W. Swanson Jr. (Barbara) of Ringgold, VA and Claude B. Swanson (Carol Sue) of Martinsville, VA.; her brother-in-law Gerald Gibson of Danville, VA.; her nephews, Stephen P. Swanson (Stephanie) of Burlington, NC and Michael H. Swanson (Susan) of Germany; her great-niece Ashley Swanson; and her great-nephews, Bryan Swanson, Patrick Layton and Kevin Swanson.
