She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Person Sr. and Daisy Mae Stith Person; her husband Raymond Swanson; her children, Pamela Williams and Duncan Williams; and her sister Mable Hill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Gwynn of Danville and Demachee Ann Williams of Middletown, Delaware; and her siblings, Akram Salaam, Khadija Aayapong, Albert Person Jr. (Barbara) and Larry Person (Renate). She is also survived by five grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
