She was predeceased by: her father Nathaniel Maxwell, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Benny E. Roberts; her children, Marquetta Maxwell, Shatara Estes, Tenaya Garland, Shannon Maxwell and Gregory Maxwell (Latoya); and her sisters, Natalie Trotter (Gary), Veronica Jones (Gary), Theresa Veasey and Scharles Tolliver (William). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and another grandchild.
