He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Comer Brown; his children, Christopher Brown (Shannon) of Maggie Valley, NC, Mary Alice Turner (David Stelzer) of Columbia, SC and Kristy Keeney (George) of Chesapeake, VA.; and his sisters, Mary Hardy (Mike) of Kannapolis, NC and Sharon Strader (William) of Ringgold, VA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and great-nieces and nephews.
