Though Melvin Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melvin Eugene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Garland Brown and Mary Elizabeth Kirby of Danville, VA; and his son David Kelly of Graceville Fl. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Comer Brown; his children, Christopher Brown (Shannon) of Maggie Valley, NC, Mary Alice Turner (David Stelzer) of Columbia, SC and Kristy Keeney (George) of Chesapeake, VA.; and his sisters, Mary Hardy (Mike) of Kannapolis, NC and Sharon Strader (William) of Ringgold, VA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mark's Pentecostal Holiness Church (1201 South Boston Rd, Danville, VA 24541).
