She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Long and Dorothy Graves Long; her grandsons, Diante Doby and Jayson Doby; and her sister Virginia "Poochie" Long.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Walker Doby; her children, Karen D. Ferrell (Barry) of Ringgold, Danielle Doby-Walton (Leonard) of Whitsett and Allen Doby, II of Danville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Stanley Randolph (Meshawn), Kristan R. Dones, Jaren Womack, Tamisha Totten (Kendrell), Elijah Walton, Jeremiah Walton, Joshua Walton and Alayna Walton; her great grandchildren, Trinity, Kenleigh, Katelynn, Ayden, Talynn, Karson and Thunder; her brother James Long (Sharon) of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Jayne Reynolds of Danville and Rhonda Womack of Danville.
