He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Shrewsberry Bowling; his children, Rebecca "Becky" Hancock, Ricky McKinley Bowling (Melinda) and Wendy Jo Collie (Bradley); his sister Doris B. Taylor (Clinton); and his nephew Alvin Lon Bowling. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
