He is survived by: his wife Vickie Motley Thacker; his children, Jermaine Thacker (Sylvia) of Danville, VA, Jeremy Thacker (Shapree) of Danville, VA and Tanisha Jackson (Dimitri) of Danville, VA; his stepmother Joise Thacker; and his siblings, David Thacker of Danville, VA, Elder Ernest Thacker of Lynchburg, VA, Larry Thacker of Gibsonville, NC, Phyllis Wright of Oxen Hill, MD and Leeann Young of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
