She was predeceased by: her father George Lewis Mays; her siblings, Curtis B. Mays, Eugene S. Mays, George L. Mays, Jr., Mary M. Sorrells Mattox and Dorothy P. Mays; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Campbell, Peronneau Gallaher, Darrell Robertson, Henry Hatcher, Raymond Sorrells and Nora W. Mays.
She is survived by: her significant other Eugene Matthew Gallaher Jr. During; her children, Ronald E. Gallaher of Waynesville, NC, Brenda G. Lillard (David) of Greensboro, NC and Pamela G. Compton (Gregory) of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Paul Gallaher, David Lee Lillard (Nikki), Krystal Gallaher, Tiffany Miller (Gary), Ashley Cooper (Ryan), Michael Compton and Matthew Compton; her great grandchildren, Miles, Remy, Ridge and Ally; her sister Ruth M. Campbell; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Robertson and Ethel Andrews (Wes). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
