She was predeceased by : her parents, Elbert Clinton Moon and Wirtle Herndon Moon; and her brother E. C. Moon, Jr.. She is survived by : her cousins, Frances Moon Hardy and Raymond Moon Crane (Lois).

A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A burial was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at the Highland Burial Park (3049 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
