It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Alfred Flaherty (Danville, Virginia), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Flaherty and Mabel Peddicord Flaherty; and his wife Nancy Newton Flaherty. He is survived by: his daughters, Ginger Meeks (Joe), Charlotte Bradshaw (Sheldon) and Ardieth Green; and his grandchildren, Amanda Cody (Kit), Jason Green, Ray Bradshaw (Katy), Amber Meeks and Vincent Bradshaw (Myrtle). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
