She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence D. Motley and Virginia Thomas Motley; her husband James Howard Byrd; her children, Angela Rose Byrd and James Richard Byrd; and her brother Richard Motley.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Pulley (Bobby) and David Byrd-Dickens (Kortney); her grandchildren, Kasey Soyars Webb, Kody Soyars (Anna), Robert Pulley, Nicole Pulley, David Lee Webb, Jr., Kimber Grace Byrd-Dickens and Deacon Byrd-Dickens; and her sisters, Linda Betterton and Betty Hyler (Terry).
