With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick J. Wilder of Danville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J WilderHe and Dorothy Jeanne WilderHe; and his brother Michael Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wilder; his stepchildren, Colleen Seitel (Noah) of Colleyville, TX, Gregory Worrell (Donata) of Martinsville, VA and Patrick Worrell (Brianna Blank) of Boston, NY; his grandchildren, Caleb, Molly and Eli Seitel of Colleyville, TX.; his siblings, Joanne Schmidt (Al), William Wilder (Patricia) of Texas and Joseph Wilder (Eva) of Texas; his nieces, Ryane Schupp, Morgan Wilder, Sidney Giesey and Tiffany Cooper; and his nephew Jacob Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the SPCA.
