Peggy Dalton Burch Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023, at the age of 75, Peggy Dalton Burch (Danville, Virginia), born in Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dalton and Gladys Dalton (Viola). She is survived by: her husband Michael R. Burch; her children, John Farmer, III (Vicki) of Durham, NC and Shirley McDaniel of Danville, VA.; her grandchildren, Crystal Wingfield (Dennis) of Dry Fork, VA, Craig Farmer (Amber) of Oxford, NC and Kailey Latimer (Tom) of Clarksville, TN.; her great grandchildren, Kiley Ann, Riley, Jackson, Victoria and Olivia; and her siblings, Claude Dalton (Gail), Phillip Dalton (Alice), Liz Cox (Linda Parsons) and Burch. She is also survived by her husband, her siblings and her uncles and aunt.

Upon her wishes, her body will be donated to Duke Clinical Research Institution, in Durham, NC for further research and in hopes to help others with Merkel Cell Carcinoma. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations go to Duke Cancer Institute at dukecancerinstitue.org or Danville Cancer Association at danpittcancer.org.
