Powell (Carter) of Raleigh, NC; his stepdaughter Angie Anderson (James) of South Boston, VA; his sister Jean R. Poff of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Anne Catherine Johnson, Caroline Pressley, Carter Powell, Daniel Powell, Dustin Lee Rowland and Katie Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Collin Johnson Pressley and Sully James Pressley. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
