He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick Haley, Sr. and Rosemary Hellman Haley; and his siblings, Anne Marie Haley Atkins (Amy), Betty Stuart Haley Scott (Jim) and William Frederick Haley, Jr. (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Cameron Schieber (Michael) of Lake Forest, IL, Martha Peyton Hetzer (TJ) of Cincinnati, OH and Andrew Stuart Haley (Kelli) of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Andrew Michael Schieber, Elizabeth Scott Schieber, Cole Philip Schieber, Hope Elizabeth Hetzer, Clare Cameron Hetzer and Margaret Keller Hetzer; and his siblings, Judy Haley Hooker, Terri Haley Hall (Phil), Joe Haley (Leslie) and Jeff Haley (Sarah). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (540 Central Blvd, Danville, VA 24541). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Danville Golf Club (2725 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hampden-Sydney College Football (Gridiron Club) in memory of Philip who believe deeply in family, friendship, and supporting young men in their education.
